This Almost Off Grid Wine Starter Kit contains all the equipment you need to get going making your first batch of homemade wine from scratch. It includes a a 5g sachet of all purpose wine yeast, which is enough to treat up to 23 litres of wine. It is also suitable for making 6 bottle box wine kits (not included), as the demijohn is sufficient for 1 gallon/4.5 litres which is the equivalent of 6 standard wine bottles.

1 gallon (5 litre) PET demijohn

1 screw cap for the demijohn with a bored hole, fitted with a pvc grommet to keep an airlock in place

1 Bubbler Airlock with cap

1 100g tub of VWP cleaner/steriliser

1 stick-on thermometer

1 sachet of top quality All Purpose Yeast suitable for red, white or rosé wine

1 syphon with tap and sediment trap for bottling

6 reusable corks with red rubber tops for bottling. These can be pushed into standard wine bottles by hand without the need for a corker (suitable for still wine only).
Please note this kit does not contain a hydrometer for measuring alcohol content, bottles or wine ingredients other than the yeast.
