10 Bored Cork Bungs by Almost Off Grid. Perfect for home brewing, these 10 traditional cork stoppers are pre-bored with a hole into which an airlock will fit to create an airtight seal. Ideal for brewing demijohns of wine, cider, mead or beer. These cork bungs are designed to fit in the neck of standard UK glass demijohns. One of the advantages of cork over rubber bungs is that you can easily trim them down to size to fit a smaller necked vessel, such as the old half sized glass demijohns which are no longer made but you can often pick up second hand.
