25 Litre Cider Kit with Cider Making Journal, Recipes, Yeast & Bottles

25 Litre Cider Making Equipment Kit by Almost Off Grid. This kit contains all the equipment you need to get started making sparkling or still cider from scratch.

Ideal for a beginner, this Kit includes a Guide to Making Cider from Apples, a sachet of Cider Yeast, 10x PET 1 litre bottles with caps and a Cider Making Journal. The Journal contains recipes for Traditional Still Apple Cider, Sparkling Apple Cider, 'Wild' Apple Cider using only the yeasts on the fruit, Fruit Cider, Elderflower Cider (with a Hop Flower variation included) and Sloe Gin Cider also known as Slider. Slider is made using the gin-soaked berries left over from making Sloe Gin, so the journal also includes a recipe for Sloe Gin plus around 100 lined pages to keep your own notes.

Kit includes:

• 23 Litre Bucket
• Lid for bucket with a ready bored hole, plus grommet which fits in the hole to secure the airlock
• Airlock
• Almost Off Grid 'Simple Syphon' including a sediment trap, rigid syphon tube, PVC tubing, and a tap
• Hydrometer in a storage tube which doubles as a trial jar, with full instructions for use inside
• LCD stick on thermometer
• Mixing Paddle
• A 100g tub of cleaner/steriliser
• A sachet of cider yeast sufficient to treat up to 23 litres of cider
• A pack of Campden Tablets
• 10 1 litre reusable PET Bottles with screw caps - ideal for making sparkling cider to manage the bottle pressure

The kit can be reused time and time again, and can also be used for making beer and wine from scratch or from kits.
