- Clean and sterilise all beer making equipment. Stand cans in hot water for 5 minutes. Pour can contents into the sterilised fermenter.
- Add 3.5 litres (6 pints) of boiling water. Top up with cold to 23 litres (40 pints). Mix thoroughly to ensure all contents are fully dissolved.
- Add the hop sachet, then the yeast, cover the fermenter. Leave to stand for 4-6 days in a warm place.
- Transfer the beer into bottles or a pressure barrel with a little sugar (half a teaspoon per pint). Stand in a warm place for 2 days, allow to clear for 14 days.
