Kefirko Kefir Maker Features
The top lid of the Kefirko jar enables air to flow, essential for making great kefir, whilst helping to prevent impurities from entering the jar.
A measuring cup for the kefir grains is integrated in the top lid. The top lid can also be used as a coaster to keep your kitchen tidy.
Integrated into the strainer lid is a sieve with two pouring areas: one for milk kefir (larger strainer slots) and another for water kefir (smaller strainer slots). This makes the separation of the grains from the kefir very simple, by simply pouring the kefir out.
Pouring of the kefir into a glass is made easier thanks to the special shape of the outer rim.
The concave form of the glass jar makes it comfortable to handle.
The raised markings on the outside of the jar indicate the levels for the preparation of kefir for one or two servings (two servings: 0.6 L / 20 oz.).
The squeezer included allows you to squeeze juice directly into your water kefir.
The Swizzle Stick will come in handy for adding the grains and stirring the kefir.
The scraper tool plugs into your sieve and not only stops your precious kefir grains from escaping when pouring, but helps to move the grains from the sieve if your kefir is thick.

Kefir is a fermented beverage with numerous positive effects on gut health and general well-being. Kefir is now widely available and it is becoming a popular probiotic drink; this kit allows you to make your own at home. Homemade kefir is usually superior to the kefir you buy because it is live, unpasteurised and without sweeteners, preservatives or chemicals. Your homemade kefir continues to ferment inside the Kefirko Jar, producing increasing numbers of live cultures over time.
